Luke Mahoney: drone builder, fixer, extreme sportist, and a practicer of tea. It’s been a great time hammocking with him. Always a good conversation, and a fresh perspective. Tonight he hosts a tea gathering with potluck as a closing / coincidence.
Come at 630, food / potluck at 7, tea appreciation at 9.

Luke Mahoney – April 2015
Luke Mahoney: drone builder, fixer, extreme sportist, and a practicer of tea. It’s been a great time hammocking with him. Always a good conversation, and a fresh perspective.
Graham Dean aka Devarrow – February to March 2015
Graham Dean slept in his van in the driveway of Hammock Residency, then moved 200 steps away, around the corner to a one person basement suite. He was working on his album for Devarrow, the name of his music project. The song I remember most is his whimsical piece “Little Road”, which after the fact turned out to be a single that many people enjoyed along with me.
Jordan Bent – March 2015
Jordan Bent is a director, photographer, designer, and visionary. He dreams soft worlds into being with a flourish, and organizes along the way to ensure that the delivery is impeccable. He is a little elf at times, going into magical spaces that only he knows, coming out with his next great creation. As an intellectual, he would have a theory about this, and would express things differently, but as an outsider to his practice, this is what it looks like to me.
James Gem – February 2015
James Gem swooped in to draw, talk, and walk around the area, working on their latest drawing project. Dreamy, sensitive, and intuitive, it is always a pleasure to have them around. Their nickname Gem/Gems is starting to feel like their new name, and I love how it resonates with my experience of knowing them.
Aubrey Burke – February 2015
Aubrey is a musician, artist, clown, adventurer, and entrepreneur. Hard to keep up with, and lovely to be in his presence. He is kind, compassionate, resilient, and always working to make the world a bit brighter, and a bit more understanding. He spent his time at the Hammock working on a new solo music project of his called Kid Tiger, and released a limited edition tape, with spray painted tiger stripes on it. He had just lost a close friend, and transmuted his sadness through art into something beautiful.
